Intent to build a clean energy future. Intent to prove that an African-owned and African-led company could lead a new energy movement, grounded in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Behind the Vision

Mbalati’s journey into the energy sector wasn’t conventional. A seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for engineering, he recognized a gaping hole in South Africa’s energy mix: lack of access to clean, scalable, and affordable fuels.

Where others saw challenges—outdated infrastructure, complex regulation, policy stagnation—Mbalati saw opportunity.

He envisioned an LNG value chain built from the ground up: import terminals, smart distribution networks, and partnerships with public and private sectors.
