Liquified Natural Gas - LNG
What is Liquefied Natural Gas
Liquefied natural gas, or LNG, is natural gas in its liquid form. When natural gas is cooled to -162 °C, it becomes a clear, odourless, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-flammable liquid and dissipates in case of leaks. LNG occupies 1/600th of the volume of natural gas making it convenient and cost-effective for storage and transportation.
Application of LNG
Natural gas can be used in a variety of ways
Mining
Mining
Used as fuel for yellow plant that are used to move and process mineral within a mine.
Benefits of LNG
We're transforming the way people think about natural gas and building a new energy future for Africa.
Up to 25% cheaper than traditional fuels like petrol and diesel
Lowering emissions, reducing carbon footprint
Non-toxic and non-corrosive
DNG has developed a network to enable a reliable LNG supply.
